FOR ALL AGES – PLEASE JOIN US at WINTER CHILDREN’S FAIR on February 26, 2012

To bring children and families together in our Davis community for some fun and enjoyment, AJD Angels of Hope Foundation in collaboration with UC Davis Community Resource Center in conjunction with the UCD Winter Weekend of Service will be hosting the “WINTER CHILDREN’S FAIR” on Sunday February 26, 2012 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Davis Community Church Fellowship Hall, 421 D St., Davis.

Different fun games and activities for children, toyland, movieland, silent auctions, raffles, live entertainment and foods for donations to benefit AJDAOHF charitable missions. We will surprised the children with the dancing lollipops and Willie Wonka!

Also, the UCD all girls capella singers The Spokes will also come down to perform live.

We have different activity tables, silent auctions, raffles, live entertainment and food vending. Pre-sale tickets of $5.00 donation for admission redeemable for activity table passport at the door. So many FREE STUFFS from our Pre-Thanksgiving Charitable Giving event.

This event is co-partnered by UCD CSRC in conjunction with the UC Davis Winter Weekend of Service. This is a community service and charity event so if you can’t come because you are out of state and country please consider making a donation , everyones support is highly appreciated to help impoverished children locally and abroad. We will have fun – let us be a child with our child again!

Thank you to AJD Angels of Hope Foundation Cebu and Can+Hear Marco Emmanuel, Inc headed by Dr. Emmanuel Mercado for all the hardwork of putting the package together, preparation and distribution of donations to the children and families at the slum area in Barangay Suba, Pasil Cebu City.

Founders of AJD Angels of Hope Foundation, the mother-daughter duo were in attendance at the First AJDAOHF Charitable Giving event with the Davis Community Meals together with some members of the APO fraternity.  It was a fun day giving out clothing and meals.  Thank you for the wonderful year 2011.  See you next year for our giving back event.

Happy New Year to all as we welcome 2012! January 6, 2012 is the deadline for Free Shipping to LBC Foundation if you are committed to help our countrymen. There were flooding and evacuations at Cebu http://www.sunstar.com.ph/cebu/local-news/2011/12/28/flooding-hits-13-cebu-lgus-197768  so some of the relief donations have been shared accross the country.

Sad to say, my arms and back are out of commissioned. I injured myself the last time I made a relief drop-off shipment on Christmas eve and had a severe pain at Christmas day. It might take awhile to heal and when it does I will work again. I am also looking for a cheaper storage space rental or sponsorship for tax write off, if you do please let me know.

Although, we shipped out total of 30 boxes this past year in 2012 AJD Angels of Hope Foundation will be focusing on child sponsorship, scholarship and Dental/Medical free clinic. As a pledge for Odd Fellows, I will also be actively involved in reaching out the Davis community.

Please remember to join BloodSource and the Davis Odd Fellows in saving lives on December 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Odd Fellows will host a Blood Drive at their lodge at 415 Second Street. Running a public charity to help the underprivilege children and families is not for everybody. You need to have a passion for your missions. You need to have perseverance, hardwork, courage, dedications and faith to yourself and to God to surpass all the trials and tribulations. Today, my husband Jon and I drove to Sacramento to drop boxes to LBC for CDO Relief. Honestly, I am physically tired but I always pray to God who gave me the good health that my brother and three sisters who underwent treatment for cancers never have. Thank you to everyone who gave me the challenges, for believing me and the missions of my charity, to my family who inspires me, and to all my family and volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to carry on the missions of our two organizations. AJDAOHF made bears for the children with cancer. Four of my siblings underwent cancer treatment. My brother and sister are colon cancer survivor and my sister fighting the battle of breast cancer and another sister with ovarian cancer this past three years. They are the missionaries behind our charities AJD Angels of Hope Foundation and Can+Hear Charity who carried on my visions.
